Transformers: War for Cybertron DLC Gets Ready to Roll Out

On the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (sorry, PC and Wii owners). And, as also reported once before, that very package of downloadable content will contain the three “exclusive” pre-order characters which were available from GameStop, Best Buy, and Amazon.com and drew some rather high bids on eBay.

Of course, this would not be much of a news post if we merely reiterated what had been said before. Fortunately, there are some new details to help liven things up a bit.

The most important detail would be when the pack arrives, and it’s good news for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners alike, as the content arrives for both platforms on July 27th. As for the price, those who partake of the PlayStation Network will get it for ten dollars, while Xbox LIVE’s currency says it will cost you 800 Microsoft Points. Same difference.

IGN appears to have scored an exclusive trailer which not only shows off the three pre-order amigos, but two all-new characters as well, and does so to the riveting tunes of He Who Has “The Touch,” Mr. Stan Bush:
