Product Description

Wheeljack stands 6â? tall. This is the animated version of Wheeljack, completely reasonable and benign in appearance. His wings are sharply angled, his shoulder mounted with a single missile launcher. Beneath his large blue eyes, his face is sheathed in horizontal bands, his head flanked by the familiar speech-sensitive plates. An overall scientist and general tinkerer, one of Wheeljackâ?TMs most noteworthy contributions involved his part in the construction of the Dinobots. Later, in Transformers: The Movie, Wheeljack was sadly shown in a state of massive disrepair alongside Windcharger. Arcee, who had dragged both of them inside the fortifications, paused to give them a mournful glance before returning to her duties. Presumably this marked the end of poor Wheeljack.

Hoist

The secondary medic of the original Transformers cartoon Hoist was added to the lineup when people figured out that Ratchet's cartoon and toy counterparts looked virtually nothing alike.  Unfortunately, Hoist was annoying, and thus only shown a couple of times on the cartoon, thus failing to really take over from the original doc.  Hoist transformed into a pickup truck with a tow attachment.

Judging by his accent, Hoist is British.  Which is confusing, considering Britain isn't exactly known for its large population of twenty foot tall sentient robots, but there you go.

Hoist also starred in the smash science fiction epic movie, Attack of the Alien Robots. Amazingly enough, this is not a joke, but an actual thing that happened in the cartoon.  Less amazingly, this was one of the last appearances from Hoist, who somehow managed to lose all credibility with his fellow giant alien robot buddies.
